Resident Guidance (HMO & Private)

  • Ensure access for the agreed inspection time and keep affected areas visible.
  • Run usual heating and ventilation on the day (extract fans, trickle vents).
  • Report any leaks or water ingress immediately to your landlord/agent.
  • Follow post-visit recommendations to control indoor humidity and prevent regrowth.

  • Property details, licensing (if applicable), and risk areas.
  • Ventilation/heating service records and any remedial works.
  • Inspection reports, photos, and re-inspection dates.
